433 Aussie families a step closer to a new home.
The latest Housing Industry Association (HIA) Housing 100, sponsored by COLORBOND® steel, has highlighted a strong year for Australia’s largest home builders, with 70,553 new homes in 2025/26 – up 9.4% on the previous year.
And FRD Homes are proud of our part in this story 🏡 with 433 homes started in the 2025/26 financial year.
What we love most about that number… these aren’t apartment towers or high-density developments.
They’re 433 standalone family homes.
Four walls. A front door. A backyard. A kitchen table. A place for kids to grow, families to gather and people to put down some roots.

Behind every start is a huge amount of work – planning, estimating, procurement, trades, site teams, suppliers, supervisors and all the people behind the scenes who keep hundreds of builds moving.
